Installment Plan for Tuition

By Installment Plan for Tuition, students can divide the amount into three and pay them at three different times in the semester.

Request for Installment Plan

  • Eligibility: continuing undergraduate students
    (ineligible students: new students, transfer students, and re-admitted students in that semester; graduate students; student loan candidates)
  • Application period: during the registration period

Application procedure
Overview After completing the application form at Academic Service on the U-saint portal, you submit the application form to the office of Financial Accounting (FA).
Steps to follow Completion of the application form on the internet → Submission of the application form to FA → Approval of FA → Payment
Obtaining the payment bill After the approval of FA, you can print out the bill from the U-saint portal, starting from the next day.

* After filing an application on the internet, be sure to obtain the hard copy and submit it to the office of Financial Accounting (Baird Hall 218). If you fail to submit the hard copy to the office of Financial Accounting within the designated period, the application for installment plan made on the internet is cancelled.

Payment Method and Period

Payment Schedule 1st installment: from one day after filing with FA to the last day of the 1st payment period
2nd and 3rd installments: within the respective payment deadlines
Where to Pay To any branch of WooriBank nationwide and on various online banking systems
  • Payment hours: 9:30 ~ 16:30 in the respective payment periods
  • The amount of payment for each installment is payable only within the installment period. If you fail to pay the 1st installment within the designated period, the installment plan is terminated. Also, if you fail to pay the 2nd installment within the deadline, the installment plan is terminated and there will be no refund of the amount you have already paid in the 1st installment. And your enrollment status will be automatically changed from ‘registered' to ‘unregistered'.

* Be sure to check the remittance account number each time because each installment uses a different account number.

Installment Plan for Scholarship Recipients

  • In case you are awarded a scholarship before applying for the installment plan: You may apply for the installment plan with the remaining balance divided into three.
  • In case you are awarded a scholarship after applying for the plan or after paying the 1st installment: There will be no change of payment schedule and you will receive your scholarship after making the 3rd installment payment.

Notes

Be sure to keep the following in mind:

  • After applying for the plan, if you want to cancel it, please visit the office of FA and file the cancellation in person.
  • Take special care because the deadlines for the application and the 1st installment payment are different.
  • No enrollment verification is available until you make the final payment.
  • In case you make the final payment after the 1/2 point of the semester, if you take a leave of absence, your payment is not carried to your next registration and there will be no refund. If you make the final payment before the 1/2 point and file for a leave of absence, your tuition will be carried to your next registration.
  • In case you have not made an installment payment by a deadline:
    • That semester is not recognized and you will be removed from the registration record.
    • The amount that you have paid so far will not be returned.
  • In case you take a leave of absence after paying the 1st or the 2nd installment, there will be no refund.
  • In case you become unregistered due to failure to pay the installment, there will be no refund even if you file a request for withdrawal from college.
  • It is your responsibility if there is a problem regarding matters such as reserve services, issuance of passports, etc. due to failure to pay the installment.
